Everything seems to be getting expensive these days. I started to wonder if coffee would be the next item behind gas to go on the “conserve list.” Well, I feel so much better after running across this article on the value of beverages at home (full disclosure – it is by the National Coffee Association and 10 years old). Date aside and prices adjusted for inflation, Starbuck’s better watch out. They may start seeing a rash of permanent “home brew” enthusiasts. It gets a bit tough to market a $4.00 latte.
